I eat around about 700/750/800 calories per day and have been useing my treadmill for 2 hours when i get the chance, i hired out a treadmill i got it on the 5th this month and i have done 14hours and 40 minutes is this good?

I’m sick of been fat, im 140 pounds, i want that perfect body, i just wondering if im doing enough on the treadmill or do i need to cut my calories down even more? I see a little weight loss already.. on my bum and my belly and my face, not sure about my legs tho..
Im 19 years old and im 5ft3.
I’m 19 years old 5ft3 and 140 pounds. I used to be 154 pounds when i was 16 17 and thought i need to do something about my body weight as its botherd me. People call me fat. I have a big bum and big tights my waist is small i’d say. I want to be around 120 pounds.
I also am trying a special k diet, I eat special k cereal for breakfest lunch and a normal dinner.

how old are you? 140 for a teenager is pretty damn average.

    you don’t just need to run on a treadmill, but also watch what you’re eating, if you’re eating right after you jog…you probably jogged for nothing

    Who’s to say your so fat at 140lbs? What is the perfect body? I think you need to eat more calories, you need to fuel the body. You should eat a healthy 1200 calories and exercise an hour a day 5 days a week.

    140 is definitely not fat! What is your height? Not that it really matters b/c 140 is definitely not fat!

    Believe it or not you are actually causing weight gain- since you are consuming so little in calories while exercising so much your body has gone into storage mode and saves every calorie to maintain daily functions. The reason you are seeing results is because of the exercise firming your body up.

    For best results increase your calorie intake to 1200-1500 calories and maintain your current exercise status. Also, eating breakfast is a must as it starts the digestive cycle for the day. many people lose weight by having a healthy breakfast. Finally drink 8 glasses of water a day.

    You seem a perfect weight, but you’re starving yourself. The average person is supposed to eat 2000 calories per day. If you keep up exersizing and eating the way you are, you’ll do just fine. Good luck sweetie!

    At 140 lbs, that’s not fat. But if you want to lose few pounds, I understand. So what you need to do is keep running, you don’t have to run 2 hours every time. But the consistency is the key. So keep your calorie count to about 1500 to 1600 per day for five, if not six days a week, do some light weight lifting(about 3-sets @ 20 or so repetitions) for your arms legs, stomach etc. to tone your body. Then do cardio, such as running. if you could do this for 5 days a week, you should only have to work out about an hour and a half a day. And as a reward for your efforts during the week, go have some juicy hamburger or something once a week. Good luck.

    You are not eating enough. By only eating 800 calories in a day, your body has probably gone into a starvation mode. Your body will naturally slow down and hang on to whatever fat you have to keep from starving to death.

    Talk to your doctor or a dietition about how many calories you should be consuming in a day.

    In the meantime, try eating more (between 1,200 and 1,400 calories).

    Hi someone else has hit the nail on the head eating 700/750 calories isn’t no where near enough. Your metabolism will slow down and your body will hold on to it’s fat stores.

    And you won’t lose any weight all you need to do in order to know, how to lose weight is eat calorie dense food, eat more fruit and plenty of vegetables.

    A treadmill is fine for exercise but if you do two half an hour sessions, you will burn more fat.
